After the success of Ewincher, the Ewincher 2 is more powerful, has a new, more efficient motor, greater speed, a higher torque, and a 15% longer running time.

Designed for boats from 30 to 60 feet. It's powerful with 450W of electric energy, combined with 90NM of torque.

Extremely versatile with three methods of operation. It will assist from start to finish and can be used in all situations and for all manoeuvres.

The Ewincher 2 can hoist a 110 kg crew member up the mast on a 55-footer or easily trim a 160m2 spinnaker in 15 knots of wind.

In electric mode, the fast 100 RPM Ewincher can hoist the mainsail in 65 seconds on an Oceanis 45-footer.

The Ewincher 2 is much more powerful, faster and more enduring than a human crew member.

A strong crew member has difficulty grinding with full rotation when the effort on a winch handle is greater than 25 kg. Ewincher's maximum torque is 90 Nm, which is equivalent to a force of more than 36 kg on the handle.

It's difficult for a crew member to constantly grind at a 60 rpm speed, even with moderate rope tension so the force exerted on the winch handle remains under 8/10 kg. As soon as the tension increases, it becomes challenging to maintain that pace.

The Ewincher in electric mode has a speed range from 0 to 100 RPM, no matter the rope tension. Not only is Ewincher faster than a crew member, but it also does not slow down when rope tension increases.

In combined mode, Ewincher provides an unequalled trimming speed that can reach up to 160 rpm.

One of the difficulties for skipper and crew sometimes is the sheer strength that sailing maneuvers require: hoisting the mainsail, adjusting the genoa, trimming the sails, or stowing the genoa.

This difficulty is exacerbated because crew members are rarely well-positioned relative to the winch/handle set.

The Ewincher is designed to assist sailing maneuvers without altering your natural movements. You'll gain power and speed while remaining in an ideal position without exerting any effort.
